Monthly Reports:

The Monthly Financial Report section includes various financial reports for online viewing. These reports are part of the transparency fiscal accountability program to open up governmental ledgers to the public.

Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports

The Finance Department coordinates preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). The City's fiscal year begins October 1st and ends September 30th. The annual comprehensive financial reports are prepared by the Finance Department and audited by an independent firm of licensed Certified Public Accountants. The purpose of the ACFR is to give a detailed overview of the City of South Padre Island's financial status.

The City of South Padre Island has received the GFOA Certificate for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the last 6 years!

A new report for the City of South Padre Island! This is the third year the City of South Padre Island will submit this report to the Government Finance Officers Association for our most recent fiscal year ended September 30. This report is specifically designed to be readily accessible and easily understandable to the general public and other interested parties without a background in public finance.  This report is prepared annually and is summarized with information extracted from our audited Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.
