Drainage & ROW Maintenance

The Right-of-Way Maintenance Division is responsible for maintaining the City's streets, drainage, and green spaces such as its parks and medians. If you have a concern regarding a pothole or any other maintenance issue, please contact us or call (956) 761-8159.

 
NOTE:The City does not make repairs to private driveways, even if they are within the public right-of-way.

Any work done by a property owner or contractor within the street right-of-way (driveway repairs, etc.) will require a Right-of-Way Permit. For information regarding Right-of-Way Permits, please contact (956) 761-8159.

The Texas Department of Transportation is responsible for all maintenance (not including landscaping) along Padre Boulevard and the Queen Isabella Causeway. For more information, please call (956) 399-5102. Contractors who wish to perform work within the TxDOT right-of-way must apply for a no fee notification permit from the City. For information on the notification permit, please call (956) 761-8159.
